Doing something for free isn't tragic.
It's about practicing a skill; a skills that up to now you have no opportunity to practice.
Don't think you should always do something for money.
Remember: Practice makes perfect.
If people are willing only to give money to people who have good
skills, and you don't want to practice your poor skills to make them
better, what's going to happen?
...Nothing.
